The advanced skills of leadership, communication and decision-making are learned “on the job” and not in business school. “Book Smart” managers enter their career with the desire and determination to succeed then are faced with the reality of workplace challenges and difficulties. “Business Smart” managers have added book knowledge to business experience to manage day to day tasks and situations with employees, clients, vendors and top management.

Mastering the skills of leadership, communication and decision-making “on the job” can cause stress, discouragement and frustration. Coaching can straighten the learning curve, eliminate the risk of failure and close the gap between where managers are versus where they want to be.

New managers, recently promoted managers, seasoned and experienced managers benefit from coaching regardless of their years on the job or their existing success.

Coaching services includes 3-4 coaching sessions a month. Each coaching session is handled over the phone and lasts between 30-60 minutes. You will receive a personality assessment and results report and one self-development/success ebook for each month of your membership. You’ll also get the "Action Essentials" newsletter revealing strategies and tips for success in your business. Book reviews, audio clips, executive interviews and access to hundreds of self-development, personal and professional improvement articles are available for your use anytime, anyday of the week.

You will meet with your coach three times a month for 30-40 minutes each time to discuss each competency and how it relates to you. We will discuss the challenges and concerns that affect you, create an action plan with steps to master the competency. Your coach will suggest tasks to develop perfection of the skill and monitor your success.

In addition to the weekly sessions, your program includes interim email coaching and shorts coaching calls to help you sustain momentum. You can contact your coach when you need support, encouragement, someone to listen to your ideas and guide you in the right direction.

All communication with your coach is confidential. Coaches support you and lead you where you want to go. Your coach won’t criticize your ideas or judge you. A coach is unbiased and objective, thus, you enjoy the freedom to brainstorm without fear or rejection or conflict from other managers and employees.
